The Nature Conservancy in New York is seeking to hire a Contractor to conduct social science research to inform a solar solutions guidebook that will provide local decision makers in New York with guidance on how solar installations can be designed to maximize community benefits and minimize local concerns. The Contractor will work with the project team to conduct social science research to: 1) identify the societal impacts of non-residential solar of greatest concern to local decision-makers in select New York State communities where non-residential solar installations are proposed, under development, or complete and 2) evaluate which of a proposed set of design solutions are preferred by residents and local officials in host communities.
