The Delta Stewardship Council, a California State agency, is seeking three prominent scientists to serve on the Delta Independent Science Board, which provides oversight of the science that underlies environmental decision-making in California’s Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. The incumbents will collaborate alongside national and international scientists to produce influential reports that support the adaptive management of the largest estuary on the west coast of North America. Desired areas of expertise include water resources engineering, hydrodynamics, climate science, algal or invasive species ecology, or ecotoxicology.
