The Park, Recreation and Tourism Studies Program at Old Dominion University (ODU) is seeking one Master’s of Science graduate research assistant (GRA) with interest in pursuing coursework and research focused on visitor use and urban park management. The successful applicant will assist Dr. Chris Zajchowski, current ODU graduate research assistant peers, and the National Capital Area Research Collaborative with a multi-year visitor use survey effort at National Park Service (NPS) units in the National Capital Area, Region 1.  This fully funded graduate assistantship will allow the student to participate in research design, data collection and analysis, reporting and dissemination for visitor use planning and management focused at George Washington Memorial Parkway. The position also will include additional effort related to one or  more of the following NPS units: Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Greenbelt Park, and Manassas National Battlefield Park.
