Project description: Perceptions of hunting within society have evolved under the influence of current societal concerns and interests, such as wildlife and their management, firearms availability, ethical considerations about animal consumption, and increasing food involvement, such as harvest your own, local food, special diets, protein in the diet, etc. At any point, a variety of competing factors exist that influence the societal perception of hunting as a sustainable practice of wild game management. This has generated a group of ‘ambivalent’ hunters who are interested in, but not committed to hunting. Click here to read more.
