The Department of Earth and Environment at Boston University (BU) invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar to collaborate on an NSF CNH2 project examining the integrated socio-environmental dynamics of overabundant wildlife in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for an environmental social scientist with interests in institutional change, wildlife, and convergent research.
Applicants who hold a Ph.D. (or who are very near completion) in a field related to the environmental social sciences and who have experience conducting mixed methods research and interest in convergent research are encouraged to apply.
Additional details about the position and application procedure are available in the attached document. The preferred start date for the position is May 1, 2020. The initial appointment will be for one year with the potential to extend for an additional 1.5 years. To receive full consideration, please apply by March 20, 2020. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
The project team affirms the importance of diversity (across its many dimensions) and encourages applications from scholars from underrepresented groups.
