Applications are invited for the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management (RWFM) at Texas A&M University. The incumbent will serve as the chief administrative officer of the Department and as an advocate for the Department’s academic, research, extension, and service programs. The position offers a unique opportunity in charting the future direction of the newly formed department consisting of a group of applied management-oriented faculty members.  Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Rangeland, Wildlife, Fisheries, Human Dimensions/Natural Resource Management, or a closely-related field, with a record of distinction in research, teaching, extension, and service that would qualify them for tenure.
